About 1:50pm on the south side of Houghton, Iowa. It formed in a field about 50 yards from the back door and we noticed a little rotation then it started to look more like almost a dust tornado (obviously it wasn't dust). It continued to move east across the field and crossed a road and kept getting bigger as it went. It ended up turning north right behind a house and running in to a pole barn. We weren't able to see much after I stopped that video, but it seemed to just go back up and dropped all the debris. It wasn't a loud tornado. The only noise was when it hit the barn. The owner's of the barn that live in the house next to it were in their basement and didn't even know they were hot until another neighbor called them to make sure they were ok.
