APPSEC AFRICA: Malware Analysis with GHIDRA CIA Tools - AZZEDINE RAMRAMI |CSCAMP2019 This session will provide Members with an insight into the world of critical vulnerabilities in modern processors. While most computer programs can only access their own data, a malicious program that exploits a hardware vulnerability can access confidential information being processed by other active programs, like browser history, website content, encryption keys, passwords and more.
Such attacks are effective beyond personal computers, with successful exploits observed in the cloud. For this reason, analyzing new and emerging malware is a vital part of an organization’s malware protection capabilities.
During this session, Azzedine will walk through a scenario that includes identifying a suspected piece of malware, examining the contents, determining the payload and highlighting the typical steps that follow confirmation of malicious code.
This session will be highly interactive, allowing the audience to ask questions, request actions and observe the analysis of malicious code in real-time.
