Hi and welcome to Day 7 of the WindWorks course, the final day of your Largo Status Stage FREE membership.
Today I am talking to you about what I believe is one of the most important
aspects of WindWorks and a great practice technique called "The WindWorks Secret"
If you've been paying attention and following the daily tasks throughout the last seven days
you will have learnt how to detect the negative tension in your playing
how the instrument body system works
and how to gradually and successfully implement your new discoveries into your daily practice routine.
Now here's a sad fact, relatively catastrophic? Absolutely. People don't know how to practice and they waste a lot of time
going around here and searching here and such like driving without a map here and finally get to the point that they want to get to.
We can get right there if we understand what we need to be working on, how to work on it and why to work on it.
And it will save you years of practice the years and years and years that I spent finding it out for myself.
It's laid out in a way here that will make sense and gradually lead you through. Now there's a lot of information.
So it's your last day. It's time to sign up for the foundation level.
If you use your coupon code it's in your email there you can start the Foundation Level for 10 bucks.
Now if this ten dollars is too much for you, for you know 30 years of slaving, well that's okay.
If you don't get anything from it we'll give you money back; it's not about the money.
I wanna walk you through the adagio, andante and moderate statuses and point out one where people go wrong
and how to develop, in a clever logical and smart way, to stop wasting time and give you direction including the singing C series
the Practice Progress Charts are awesome
so it takes two seconds to join up.
So just go on to at the end of this video.
Now I'd like to.
Now I'd like to read something from a Facebook forum just so you understand not our forum just the trumpet page.
While it is true that different methods can and do work for different players. Equally true is that some methods just don't work for certain players. After playing the trumpet on and off for the last 40 years I decided to get serious and apply my training as an engineer to whittle the list of methods that are more universal in their success. Whittle down at the top of the list is Greg Spencer's mystery to mastery with works method. If you are serious about playing the trumpet and robustly at that I highly recommend you make the small investment in this program. I've been at it since October of last year completely rebuilding how I play and I've never sounded better. And now that my foundation has matured my range is climbing weekly. Not only is Greg I am hake an expert. He is also an exceptionally good teacher.

Best of all his videos and supporting texts are lessons and lessons are online and can be watched over and over and his forum is gaining popularity.
So questions can be asked and answered
so I thank Ken for writing that on it on a trumpet forum. And he points out that 24/7 access is important.
I charge at 80 dollars for one hour lesson.
So what is the "WindWorks Secret"? It's all about not wasting practice time. Now what do we need to do? We need to train this bit here.
So we can do some serious practice away from the practice room. Again, what are we doing?
We're developing an understanding of psychology. We're learning feelings and sensations
that need to be carried onto our playing and some of them will be conflicting, challenging.
But, if you want everything to feel the same and there's no difference, well there's probably going to be no difference to the outcome.
And it's those who embrace the differences and understand them that can unlock all the negative tension in their playing
and this is professional players doing this, and up their results. It's as simple as that.
Let's break it down. Your playing depends on signals sent from the brain triggering the body into action. Unfortunately the brain sends the wrong signals.
So how do you fix this? It's not by picking up the instrument. It's stimulating old habits.
In fact touching the instrument let alone playing it is actually getting in the way of making the changes that you want to be making.
There are so many things that you can be doing outside of the practice room to train the brain

Spence.
