Revenge Porn: ‘I’m sorry to my children’ - BBC London

Revenge Porn: ‘I’m sorry to my children’ - BBC London Kate started #NotYourPorn when a Revenge Porn video was uploaded to Porn Hub of her friend, without her friend’s consent.

Since then Kate has discovered that women across the country are also suffering from non-consensual revenge porn being hosted on the site.

Sophie is just one lady who contacted Kate for help. Sophie asked Pornhub to take her videos down in April 2018 but she still believes they’re still on the site today and has proof of her videos still being there in August 2019.

Now Kate is pushing for a change in the revenge porn law so that websites hosting such content can be held accountable. As the law currently stands, it is not illegal to host non-consensual revenge porn on platforms.

Kate is working with her local MP in Tooting to change this and is calling for the public to take action so that no other victim has to go through what Sophie has.
