Day 04 - Two Month Fasted-Thenics Challenge - Fasting is MOSTLY a Mental Challenge. Fasted-Thenics = Implementing a Calisthenic Exercise Regimen while in a Fasted State.

Two months without Food? That's right! We're talking about fasting.

If all goes as planned, that's exactly what I'm setting out to do. Before you guys chalk this is off to lunacy, gimme a few videos to explain. This is not my first rodeo... Just my first video.

THIS FAST:
Fasted-Thenics = Implementing a Calisthenic Exercise Regimen while in a Fasted State.

This Fast is defined as no solid food for Two Months, while performing several body weight exercises, four times per day. I will be allowing Coffee and Tea (no sweeteners), Organic Bone Broth, and a Protein Shake with eggs added. (a total of 2 raw eggs per day) For the Broth, I am mixing an organic chicken bone broth, and an organic beef bone broth at a 50/50 ratio. For the protein shake, I am using a low carb option. In the blender, I mix 2 scoops of the protein powder (DRV), 2 cups of an unsweetened Almond/Coconut Milk blend, 2 cups of water, and 2 eggs. I'll also consume 1 cup of each mixture, four times per day, immediately after each calisthenics session. I will also be doing a brisk 2 mile walk in the morning, and sometimes another brisk walk of 2 miles, in the evenings, at a 15-16 minute per mile pace as the target to start, but I may need to adjust this as the fast progresses. I will be keeping track of many health measurements through these 100 days. During this series of videos, I’ll be briefly sharing my experience on a daily basis. This will include some of the health numbers that I keep track of, and hopefully some interesting trends along the way. I’ll also talk more about why health has become such an interest for me, and share my thoughts as I continue learning. This channel will serve as a way for me to document my experience as I trudge through, and experiment with, the multitude of ideas related to health and longevity. We are all so lucky to be living during such amazing times!

PREVIOUS:
This past Summer, I fasted the entire months of June and July, for a total of 61.5 days! The first 4 weeks on WATER ONLY! I have experimented on myself with many types of caloric restriction, including: juicing, time restricted feeding, intermittent fasting, circadian rhythm feeding and straight water only fasts. In the coming decades, health professionals and researchers will no doubt begin to make more sense of these kinds of tools and how they can be utilized most effectively, but for now, I’ll try some things out myself.

Please be patient with me, as I'll be learning video production as I share my experience during this Health Challenge. Constructive feedback is welcome.

I'll try to address comments and questions, as best I can, in following videos.
