Evolution happens quickly in the animal welfare field. Our roles are continuously changing, and our focus has become much more external. The world, as it turns out, does not start and stop inside the walls of our shelters. We are meeting important community needs like access to care, community outreach, and disaster response. In this keynote address, you will hear from a 35-year veteran of the industry how animal welfare organizations can fulfill their missions outside the shelter.
