Spinal Rotation Preference to the Right and What it Means For Us.

The research shows that the human spine has a demonstrated preference to rotate to the right while at rest. Obviously, this isn't the spine's preference, is the brain's preference, but it's all "one".

The reason for this preference is the existence of the larger right diaphragm, although that is not mentioned in the study. The researchers just say that right spinal rotation exists in humans in supine, quadruped, and upright positions.

This preference is not just the spine, but the entire organism. Humans are right dominant beings. We prefer to stand on the right leg. That's why the spine is found to be rotated to the right.
