Iran Arms Embargo Set to Expire

On October 18, 2020, the U.N. will make it easier for Iran to buy weapons and advance its campaign of aggression.

Two important restrictions on Iran are set to expire next year as a provision of the nuclear deal: an embargo on weapons sold to the regime and a travel ban on key Iranian leaders, including IRGC commander Qasem Soleimani.
