The Deutsch Afrika Korps and the British 8th Army - the famed Desert Rats - would chase one another back and forth across North Africa to the ends of their supply lines, inflicting defeats on one another until the hammer finally fell with the Second Battle of El Alamein, where the British and Commonwealth forces finally forced the depleted Germans back to Tunisia, then further to Sicily and Italy.

These Perry Miniatures are excellent value, with each box of their plastic WWII figures containing a complete platoon, along with likely support assets like anti-tank rifles, light mortars and light machine guns. This isn't a paid promotion, I just think they're great!

How I Paint Things is a series of simple instructional videos designed to help the newcomer through some of the basics and demonstrate how the very simplest techniques can still give you some great results that're easily replicated.
