PATRIOTS LAMENT: BE ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING

Do we need to be anxiously watching what happen in the Middle East and with Israel in particular? What does worrying about these things do for us? Or would it be better if we just shut off the news altogether(and just tune into Patriot's Lament)?
We also talk about Trump's pullout of Syria, some history of the "lines" drawn by European nations creating the nation state boundaries we see in the Middle East now, that were not there historically. Are these the real reason we see so much turmoil in the Middle East, forced integration? We also touch on the what people historically called heroes, and how they were treated throughout history, compared to the so called soldier heroes of today, are Americans lying to their soldiers?
