* Lighted Version with amber LED glow plug and 4 ultra bright blue
LED "flame" and RUBBER BAND shooter in one. (3DP)

* Working squirt gun - water pistol. (3DP)

* Working "5 Flame output" version. (3DP)

All 3D rendered and then 3D printed on my ENDER 3 printers.
.During my quest to create a working 3D printed Logan's Run Flame Pistol I did a bit of research
on the net and found that there are many versions of the all metal type and several versions of the painted, 3D printed versions that have LED lights and without, assembled or in kit form available for purchase.
As well as some resin type.
.
Getting my flame output version to work was my biggest challenge since I had to reconfigure the "flame output manifold"
so many times until I got it the way it was intended.
The actual working flame pistol has a much larger CC and water mixing chamber then my design and could potentially output a much greater gas output pressure to produce the single torch style flame necessary to give the final look of the 5 flame result.
.
Since mine is 3D printed in PLA plastic there are certain aspects to consider for the final design.
Having reduced gas pressure, I needed to send the gas output into 5 separate pin hole nozzles directly and then ignited individually.
By doing this, there was no way to design in a venturi gas/air mixing section to reduce the black smoke and produce a hotter flame.
.
Getting 5 separate ignition sparks to work at the same time with the proper intensity was a huge hurdle to overcome.
I only had limited space available in the grip for electronics and sufficient battery power to get a good spark at each nozzle.
As far as I know, it is the only 3D printed plastic, working "5 flame output" Logan's Run Sandman pistol so far.
.
Of course, I couldn't resist coming up with 2 more variations on a theme as seen in the video. :)
.
This video shows what I managed to create during my design and build (print) process.
.
I used my ENDER 3 printers and a simple CAD rendering program to create these interpretations.
