PayNow transactions jump to over 5 million a month

PayNow had seen significant growth since it was launched in 2017. It enabled customers of participating banks to transfer money to others, using just their mobile or identity card numbers. The number of transactions leapt more than 30 times, to over five million a month as of July 2019, with the value of transactions now at over a billion dollars a month.
