Ukiah mural doesn't shy away from the 'Truth'

Artist Lauren Sinnott said she wanted her large mural in downtown Ukiah to show the history of the Ukiah Valley "as it happened, with all of the good stuff, but also acknowledging the bad," such as the violent attacks on Native Americans. The aftermath of those killings are depicted in a panel called "Truth."
