STRIKE UP ON YOUR DRIVER 2 SIMPLE TIPS & DRILLS
Thanks to Shrigley Hall Golf and hotel
it's very easy to be tight, to be restricted to no, the common era, whether you've hit a hundred balls or not is to come too steep and down into the ball. But what can we do if we haven't hit lots of practice shots? What can we ensure that we can do as far as, um, sensation wise to make sure that we strike up but still get through the ball correctly today? I'm going to give you a couple of things to help.
That number one is going to be right here for the set up with the driver to hit up on the ball. And then the second one is actually a practice swing that you're going to do just while you're waiting to tee off.
Too often we see this set up where people just sort of very straight lines at address. We don't want that. We don't want straight lines because what about this setup looks like I'm trying to hit this object on the upswing that I'm trying to send it that way down the fairway.
All I want you to think about is this spine angle and just tilting it to the side. But lowering your rib cage, your right rib cage down towards your hip. So we're just tilting a bit that way. And you can do it just by sliding the right hand at address, sliding the right hand down to the knee.
Driver tip 2
Okay, so now we've moved to the side of the tee box waiting for someone to tee off. We've talked about trying to hit it on the upswing, making sure we get behind it. And just by striking tee peg, you can not only practice the type of swing that you want, but it's, especially good if you haven't hit balls beforehand, it kind of gives you a bit of a cheat because you're still striking an object.
We want to be striking on the up swing. We want to still be trying to get through it, and yes, I'm going to come off balance because it's this up slope and especially with a longer club that's going to essentially weight it, but doing this a few times to really make sure that you're waiting for it just a little bit more, giving yourself a little bit more time from the top as you swing through so you're not rushing from beginning. Very key off the first tee to feel like you're taking it back weight and then swing through. Okay. You do that. You're going to have a smoother swing, just waiting a little bit more, but you're going to be striking on the up swing with the driver, not only good for the first tee, good for all of the holes, so give that a try. Let me know how you get on.

ABOUT ALEX AND THE ART OF SIMPLE GOLF
-----------------------
Golf wins in the complication department. No other sport boasts the amount of gadgets, swing fixes, variations of balls, clubs, tees, courses, not to mention weather!, however, it is not as difficult as you have been led to believe.
Or at the very least as complicated and frustrating as the golf industry has you made you you think.
The Art of Simple Golf was born when confusion overruled the joy of golf.
You know that horrible dream where rabid dogs are coming at you, and you try to run but you are frozen in fear?
Ever feel like golf is just like that?
Not the rabid dogs part, but the frozen in fear due to over-thinking?
Stop overcomplicating. Listen to your swing.simple golf tips
Using simple methods. Simple drills, breaking down the game into tips that actually work. Giving you freedom in your golf swing.
Our goal is to get golfers to;
-play more consistent golf
-hit longer drives
-shoot lower scores
-feel better
-play better
-and enjoy golf once more
The over complicated swing instruction methods have your best interests at heart, but as I alluded to earlier, they are still stuck in the “golf instruction paradigm blindness” and only give you what the industry dictates again and again.
