Simple Technique to Catch Spawning Bass (Sight Fishing During the Spring Spawn)

Simple Technique to Catch Spawning Bass (Sight Fishing During the Spring Spawn) The very next day after my buddy Paul and I realized that the bass were on the beds in Maryland and ready to spawn, I made a trip out on my own for a few hours to try and catch a few more. Bass fishing a heavily pressured lake in the Spring during the spawn can be tricky, but a simple drop shot or shakeyhead technique can almost always guarantee you a few bites. The male bass were the only ones on the beds so they were extra aggressive and it wasn't very hard to tempt few into attacking my drop shot and shakeyhead. Be sure to try these two techniques the next time you find spawning bass on the beds in the Spring when the bigger offerings don't get you bit!
