Today's youth wrongfully believes that growing up is fun and simple. They don't realize the responsibility and hardship that's attached to independence and freedom until it's too late. In this talk, Ashlyn shares her story about becoming an adult early and what she has learned throughout her experience. Ashlyn is a sophomore at Saint Andrews School. She plays soccer at a very competitive level. When she’s not balancing school and being the captain of her soccer team, Ashlyn enjoys drawing and solving Rubik's cubes. Ashlyn wanted to be a part of TED-Ed because she was very inspired by previous talks and wanted to inspire others with hers.
