When I first listened this song I had a boyfriend. I was so sure I was going to introduce him to my family, I was so excited for him to be the first guy I ever bring home and I was hoping he might be the only one. And a week later I thought all that he left me. And here I am, I guess having a heartbroken is never easy.
This song hit me different when I had a boyfriend and then when I didn't have a boyfriend anymore. It just made me think about how crazy relationships are. How is you and your special person but at the same time everyone you know. You let someone into your life. They meet your family, and friends, you talk about them all the time and you know, the people you love will see you happy and in love, they'll hope the best for you. And when things don't work out, you get left, single and all of them have to see you hurt and have to deal with the way you deal with your pain. Just like the songs says it breaks more hearts than one.
Is crazy how you get to know someone in such a close way, how you memorize everything they say and then you break up, you stop talking and everything you know about him someday will be the past. He’ll change and you won’t know him anymore. The person you loved won’t exist anymore. Is so scary, thinking that one day I won’t know him anymore. This video was made to help me, to get over him I guess. For me editing is my way to process my feelings. I’m okay in case you were wondering. Sometimes the nostalgia hits me but I don’t miss him anymore. I never needed him but I did wanted him to be in my life and to share my happiness. I think is kinda sad, no one did anything bad, you know. Sometimes it just doesn’t work. Life is crazy.
