Nathan Bedford Forrest Most Significant White man in Memphis History

Memphis, Tennessee is the city where Dr. Martin Luther King was killed. Unknown to most African/Americans that the most significant Whiteman in Memphis history was Nathan Bedford Forrest the founder of the Ku klux Klan. It was just recently whereas in the dark of night the statue of Nathan Bedford Forrest was removed from the park in Memphis, Tennessee.

Per this video notes contemporaneous with this posting the "Sons of Confederate Veterans" are influential in Memphis. While Memphis has a 70% African/American population the confederate forces and White Supremacist continue to influence Memphis, Tennessee.
