At the Raisina Dialogue 2020, Jeppe Kofod, Foreign Minister of Denmark, talked about climate change and how it is changing the landscape we live in. Along with being a threat to biodiversity, Kofod highlighted how climate change is a threat to global security and stability. He spoke about how Denmark is willing to do its part and has set an ambitious target of reaching climate neutrality and net zero emissions by 2050, at the latest. Denmark, he said, understands that combating climate change has to ensure equality, and involve everyone. Kofod proposed Public-Private Partnerships as drivers of green innovation. He further stressed how India and Denmark are at the forefront of realising their potential for Public-Private Partnership when it comes to climate change, and how this must be taken further.
