Antonio Gaudi was a Spanish Architect, who earned his recognition through the deep understanding and application of the perfect mathematical as well as physical symmetry of natural objects in his architectural projects in Catalonia.
Numerous structural elements that included spiral stairways, conoid-shaped roofs, honeycomb gates, diatom shaped windows, as well as double twisted columns, which resembled trees and the frequent use of mosaic, have all formed a part of Gaudi’s unique architectural style.
His bravely expressive, revolutionary view on the art of architecture will forever inspire future generations, and me!
