Today's Prime Minister's Questions comes as Mr Johnson's withdrawal agreement was defeated in the House of Lords. After it passed through the initial stages of the House of Commons, the bill proceeded to the Lords for further amendments. However, the legislation was amended by the Lords to change clauses regarding the Supreme Court, the European Court of Justice, and the rights of EU citizens post-Brexit. Taking to the dispatch box to defend the Government’s record on low paid earners, Mr Johnson said the Conservatives were helping those on the lowest wages keep more of they money their made.
