It's been only a week since our last long haul of 650 miles/15 hours and we're already gearing up for another. We're gluttons for punishment apparently. Fed up is an understatement when it comes to how we feel about driving all day!

However, sometimes it is necessary to make quick work of the many miles that separate us from our end destination - and now is one of those times. We're leaving Chico, California where we're visiting family to go visit more family and spend the Holidays in Seattle, Washington.

This will be the first time spending Winter in the north since we hit the road as full time RVers. As many of you know we've avoided cold and snow like the plague by snowbirding each Winter down in the comfortable dryness of the Arizona and California deserts. This year however, we'll be spending most of Winter in the exact opposite climate - cold and wet Seattle.

Before we get there though we've got one last long RV travel day to battle through!
