This 31-year-old man with Marfan syndrome was referred to our Thoracoabdominal Aortic Aneurysm (TAAA) Program at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, Australia. He previously had a Type A aortic dissection repair, total arch replacement and elephant trunk procedure. His descending thoracic aorta continued to dilate during follow-up, reaching 6.8 cm in the mid segment. In Part 1 of this video series, a left heart bypass is established for the Extent I TAAA repair.
