Why do black children love their Mom's more than Dad's

Here is a very interesting question that I pose as both a father, and as a black man(so-called). From my personal experience's.

I have noticed that black fathers always seem to play background with their children, when mom is always up front and getting all the attention. Why is this?

Why is dad always the least important to his children and mom on top of the list?

IMPORTANT! Now, even though i labeled this from a black person's point of view, I want everyone to chime in because this subject is not exclusive to blacks. It happens in all ethnic groups.
