Ethan Waters and John Fegley were each arrested and charged with resisting arrest by the Veince Police Department. Fegley was also charged with possession and paraphernalia relating to marijuana found in his possession. A call came into the Venice Police Department of a burglary in progress at a Motel 6. While pulling up to the scene you can hear an excited Ofc Montanez say "Their he is, that Mother******", but Montanez had mistsken Ethan Waters for a man he had dealt with before, when the officer jumped out he yelled for Waters to put his hands up which WATERS did, (as you seen in the video) but Montanez wrote in his report that Waters refused to comply and had his hand in his pocket, a complete and utter lie. When you see officers take off they have now spotted John Fegley who was about to go to work. According to the Police report he also resisted and was violently subdued. Police soon realized it was a misscomunication and no rooms had actually been burglarized, but Waters and Fegley were still charged with resisting. The DA looked at the case and decided not to prosecute, but only after Waters missed a court date got a bench warrant was picked up on that warrant and was charged with possession. At the time of his arrest Waters had personal use Marijuana on him. So because of officers being over zealous and refusing to admit they were wrong Ethan Waters is in the system charged with something seperate from that incident, but directly correlated. Had he never been arrested he would of never missed court, got. warrant, and gotten arrested and found on possession of Marijuana. Veince Cheif MATMULLER claims to have not known about the dashcam footage from his own department's cruiser, and was only made aware zfter the SARASOTA HERALD-TRIBUNE made him aware. The officers were cleared of any wrong doing and actually APPLAUDED for among other thing their "AWARENESS" THEY MISIDENTIFIED A MAN, AND THEN ASSAULTED TWO MEN WHO HAD DONE NOTHING WRONG!
