Criminal District Court Judge John Stevens confirmed to The Enterprise later that Thomas was formally charged on Wednesday and bail was set at $15,000. The charge carries a maximum punishment of 2 to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000. The boy and his four siblings, ages 1 to 12, were removed from her custody on Nov. 8, two days after the video surfaced online. We also discuss corporal punishment.
