E. coli outbreak linked to Fresh Express salads sickens 8 people A dangerous new E. coli outbreak is linked to Salinas, California, a city known as the Salad Bowl of the World. At least eight people in three states have become ill. It’s not clear if these cases are linked to a recent, more widespread outbreak from contaminated romaine lettuce that sickened 102 people in 23 states. Jonathan Vigliotti reports.
