Catholic faith maintains that the Church should steer clear of active politics. A group of Christian leaders in Guyana have decided to form a political party, in a bid, according to its members, to stamp out correction in the South American CARICOM Nation.
But the Catholic faith believes that the separation of church and state should remain, as according to the Archbishop of Castries, politics, is too divisive.
