'WHY ARE MY TEETH BREAKING?!' (Fixing a Broken Tooth WITHOUT a Root Canal)

'WHY ARE MY TEETH BREAKING?!' (Fixing a Broken Tooth WITHOUT a Root Canal) "Why are my teeth breaking?!"

And why do they break so easily? In this video, we discuss the two main reasons teeth break. Outside of trauma, Tooth fracture can be typically traced to two main causes:

1) Fatigue leading to cracks
2) Decay undermining the chewing surface of the tooth.

Once you understand these two modes of fracture, a broken tooth resulting from eating a salad finally makes sense.

We also show you how we go about fixing a broken tooth with a filling and WITHOUT a root canal. Sometimes Root Canal Treatment is required, but not always. If there's spontaneous pain, we're more concerned. But if the pain is only related to food getting caught in the broken portion of the tooth, the prognosis of the tooth healing after a filling is far better, even with extensive decay.
