The Single Cask 2008 Alter Ego Islay Malt 10yo - Whisky Review 53

The Single Cask 2008 Alter Ego Islay Malt 10yo - Whisky Review 53 Oh what a marathon effort this series of videos has been.

Last one is an undisclosed Islay 10yo Malt. Bottled at 58.2% abv.

From a big distillery on Islay- Big Hint There.

Brendan was quite excited about this one as bottle has his signature. And he personally chose the cask.

9 Years in a refill Bourbon Cask, and then 1 year in a first fill Alter Ego Red Wine Barrique from Chateau Palmer from Bordeaux Left Bank. Wines from here sell for $400 or more.

It is phenomenal whisky which rolls back and forth with dryness on back of palate with sweetness in front.

I thoroughly Enjoyed this whisky.

And was great to finish on this particular one.
