Indigenous groups in Central Australia are calling for an independent investigation into the police shooting of a 19-year-old man in Yuendumu, in the Northern Territory. NT Police has assured family and friends that the incident will be investigated fully with oversight from WA Police and the NT anti-corruption commissioner, but locals don’t want police involved in the inquiry.
