Forward|backward spin basic walking drills (Rope Dart) Displayed with rope dart, but this exercise emphasises 'coil walking' and can be done with almost any other tool with minor alteration.

First is just spinning it forwards/overhand and backwards/underhand, second is doing it with body connection.
