Even though you feel pressed, know I am with you always even through the darkest of hours. This is a season of reduction and streamlining. This is a time and season of eliminating what is unnecessary. While you may feel this is punishment, know this is preparation. While it may feel like I am resisting you, know I am getting you ready for your next season. I realize you see things one-dimensionally. You think of days one at a time. You see yourself today and give no thought for tomorrow. (1) But my perspective is different. I see things finished. I see the end already. I see where you will end up on your present course. I maneuver you differently than you would choose to do for yourself. I guide you differently than the direction you would choose for yourself. I position, accelerate, and delay you differently than you would choose to do for yourself. I do these things because I love, because I am preparing you, because I am pruning you, and because I have a perspective entirely different than yours. (2)
While the chopping away feels painful, remember this is my loving hand pruning you to be prepared for the next season coming up. It is my desire and plan to prosper you. It is my plan to further you, and to see you flourish in all things. It is my plan to advance you past your present setting, and move you closer to the place of your calling, closer to the place of maturity in your destiny in me. As you learn to trust me, and learn to accept my timing, guidance, and leadership, I will empower you through the difficult times as you remain faithful on the path set before you. (3)
While it may be painful and uncomfortable, know this process of refinement is not for nothing. Know all these things are working towards a greater end, one you cannot see fully in this present moment, in this present state. All the delays, hurts, failures, and lessons you are learning and experiencing are seeds from which you will harvest much fruit years later. Today we will sow, and tomorrow we will reap. So we work hard today, while keeping in mind tomorrow knowing our labor is not in vain. (4)
Trust in me. Open your heart and allow me to influence you greatly. There are unperceived hindrances within your heart that must be dealt with, and must be confronted. So trust in me as I bring out the knowledge and perspective you will need in order to identify, but also contend with, the unknown issues at hand. I will empower you so you can overcome these issues and walk in the full strength and capacity of all I've placed within you. I will help you. I will empower you. I will make it plain for you to see and understand, and as a result, you will grow, do well, and advance consistently. (5)
