After posting a video of a car accident last night a Subscriber (WAC 1963) left a comment advising that cyclists be seen and ride safe during the coming winter months. I agreed with this comment. The comment was clearly from a person concerned about the safety of cyclists as was my agreement. Enter Wigan Cyclist at this point spouting bone head comments about cyclists rule the road etc. (OK I'm paraphrasing but you get the idea) So this morning I stopped a random cyclist and asked his opinion on cyclists wearing PPE. Not surprisingly he advocates the be seen and be safe method of riding a bike on the public highways.
