Our WORSE decision coming to Ishigaki Island!!!

19 September 2019 - Day 28 - Okinawa to Ishigaki

VLOG 290

This morning we leave Okinawa island and fly further south to Ishigaki Island! We arrive just after midday to more overcast and windy weather. Not sure why we decided to come here as it is in the middle of typhoon season!! 🌬🌪

We decide to leave our home stay and head towards the beach for the afternoon despite the gale force winds and let’s just say if it’s super windy inland, DO NOT go to the coast or the open. It was BLOWINGGG like we didn’t even feel safe walking along the beach because it was that windy! You can lean into the wind even! 🌬🌬 It was nutso!

Apparently a typhoon is coming though and it’ll be like this for the next /2-3 days!! Fingers crossed it’s not because I’ve been eating so long to go diving!! 🤞🏽
