Movemeant Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to making fitness accessible, fun and empowering while shifting the conversation from weight loss and typical beauty ideals to that of body positivity.
This foundation empowers girls and women by providing them with resources, opportunities and experiences to use physical movement as a tool to build confidence and self-worth.
This foundation believes that young women are bombarded with images and messages that glorify perfection as thin and beautiful. In some instances, they also have inadequate education on the merits of healthy, active, nutritious living. As a result, our young women are falling short--failing to realize how extraordinary they are. Instead they focus on everything they are not.
Movemeant Foundation’s vision is to create a world in which people are taught to love their bodies unconditionally and that physical movement is the gateway to celebrating and appreciating all that their bodies are.
Best Friends Animal Society

Best Friends Animal Society is No-Kill Animal Rescue & Advocacy. Every day, nearly 2,200 dogs and cats are killed in America's shelters, just because they don't have safe places to call home. At the core of Best Friends' work is the dream that one day animals will no longer be killed in America's shelters - and they are looking to complete this mission by 2025. By implementing spay/neuter and trap-neuter-return (TNR) programs to reduce the number of animals who enter shelters, and increasing the number of people who adopt pets, we know we can end the killing. They are working to combat puppy mills, fight breed-discriminatory laws against breeds like Pit Bull Terriers, as well as implementing innovative trap-neuter-return programs across the country to help community cats which comprise the majority of animals dying in shelters — up to 70 percent in some places.
