Geoffrey Van Orden, the leader of the British Conservatives in the European parliament and a member of the European Conservatives and Reformist Group, says the UK government wants a deal, but it must leave on 31 October.

Michel Barnier needs a "hurry up" call to agree a Brexit deal before the UK leaves on October 31. That was the message from Geoffrey Van Orden in his speech to the European Parliament during a key debate on Britain’s departure.
