Boris Johnson's Parliament suspension ruled unlawful | DW News

In a historic blow to Prime Minister Boris Jonhson, the British Supreme Court has ruled that Johnson's suspension of Parliament was unlawful.
The unanimous verdict strikes at the heart of the UK's constitution, potentially re-defining where the balance of power lies between the government and the judiciary.
The decision means lawmakers can re-assemble "as soon as possible," which could deal a hammer blow to Johnson’s plans for taking Britain out of the EU by the end of October, deal or no deal.
