With the Release of Fire emblem Three houses many people are now talking about
the Fire Emblem series.
While this series has been beloved by Fans it is still very new to many.
So if you are are someone who is curious about this Franchise.
Then please keep on watching as I explain what Fire Emblem is As simple as possible.




Summary

Fire emblem is a tactical grid based rpg, developed by Intelligent Systems. Its a long running series of games
each with their own individual stories
where you recruit units,build their relationships,
and try to keep them alive as you follow your path in the story.





Story
The Fire Emblem games usually have really in depth stories that many fans believe is the strong suit for these games.
It usually revolves around The Fire Emblem.
Which in game is a magical royal item that represents war and dragons
This is the common theme that revolves around these games, and in each the item that represents the Fire Emblem is different.
All of these games take place in a medieval setting where some sort of conflict is had between nations or among social classes,
but tend to lead up to some sort of bigger world problem mostly with dragons.


Gamplay
Fire Emblem is Famously known to be a difficult game for newcomers, but over the years that has been changing to be more accessible and easier to get into than ever before.
The main factor that made these games difficult was the Permadeath system,
which is when a character dies in battle they're gone for the rest of the game.
This is what built much of the reputation for Fire Emblem, but
also kept many away since not many people would want to lose one of their favorite characters in battle for making a wrong move.
The developers wanted Fire Emblem to be more Accessible to more people so they can also experience the game and its stories.
Their answer to this Problem was by adding in Casual Mode for new players to the franchise.
in this mode if one of your characters die they comeback after the battle is over.
This encouraged many new fans to play the games and finally give them a try,
but they also still kept the Permadeath system for its veteran players in Classic Mode.




End Thoughts
There are many more things each game has to offer, but those things are dependent on which game it is.
Now that Fire Emblem Three Houses is out maybe you are interested to give these games a chance.
Here are my recommendations for which Fire Emblem game to start with if you are interested.
If you feel like you would still like to check out Fire Emblem, but a an easier game I would then Recommend Fire Emblem on the Gameboy Advance this was the First game released in the West. It explains the combat system very easily, and most of the game is generally simple and easy.
If you want to play a game that has more depth, but not too much. Then I would Recommend Fire Emblem Awakening on the 3DS. This is the Franchise best selling game, and for good reason a lot of the best features out of all the Fire Emblems games you will find in this game.
I would also recommend the newest addition Fire Emblem Three Houses. This game has so much to do, and it allows for a more variety in your playstyle than any other Fire Emblem game has. It doesn't give you a detailed tutorial,
instead all the information is given to you to take at your own pace by providing you with a Guide in the Menu for all the games mechanics.
This allows you to jump right into the action, but have the information if you have any questions on how something works.
