In a recent interview with Billboard, a producer of the 2009 VMAs along with president Van Toffler admitted that there were parts behind the scenes of the show that they were not ready to share until now
Like, for instance, that they found Beyonce crying backstage.
According to Van Toffler, Beyonce said “I didn’t know this was going to happen. I feel so bad for her” referring to Kanye storming the stage and stealing Taylor’s VMA moment!
So it was right then and there that they decided to let Taylor have her redemption moment
They decided to break award show protocol and tell Beyonce that she was probably going to win the award for Video of the Year at the end of the night … to ensure she stayed through the entire show!
And MTV gave her the idea to call up Taylor Swift to the stage
I mean… what a moment.

Apparently Pink yelled at Kanye … lol.

She put on this ICONIC performance of Paparazzi
And Pink and Shakira wore the exact same dress
