The weather has turned calmer in the Northeast and Middle Atlantic States with just some scattered showers and storms across a few areas. Warm and humid conditions for most this weekend. In the tropics Hurricane Erik is passing south of Hawai, Tropical Storm Flossie will come closer to Hawaii early next week. A tropical wave in the Atlantic has a shot of developing over the weekend as it continues moving west northwestward.

Regarding decisions you may have to make in regards to the threat from severe weather threats, tropical storms or hurricanes..
