With the Splattershot returning soon, I don't want to risk running in to them, so I turn back early and hope to use a vertical flick to splat the Heavy Splatling off the container. I don't really expect them to jump in front of me for an easier splat, so that's also a nice surprise for me.
I tidy up a bit, then head for the source of a Chicken Army, but they've been splatted, so I head back to the front of the Splat Zones to see what the rest of the team are up to. The Heavy Splatling is back, and I'm not sure what I can do with where they are from where I am. I probably shouldn't just stand in front of the container, flicking and hoping, which the Carbon Roller Deco reminds me of.
That little patch of uninked turf gives me dead-spot flashbacks, so I ink it just in case, and move back to the Splat Zones, now nicely green again. I apply some completely unnecessary forward pressure, nearly making the same mistake as before, and retreat when I realise what I'm doing. I tidy up around the edges, taking care to look behind me, but realising that I'm just following my own trail again.
Back to the Splat Zones, and I use an Ink Storm and Chickens to provide a bit of cover, but the Carbon Roller Deco throwing out a new Chicken Army is its own distraction. The container provides enough cover to corner the Dualie Squelchers, and the Heavy Splatling is mid-activation of a B-bomb, and little threat until they land. Their misstep bringing them closer to me lets me get a third splat.
A bit of tidying up after the B-bomb ensures the Splat Zones stay green enough for a few more seconds, and the knockout victory is ours. Woomy!
