In the last video, I talked about the importance of aero bars and forward positioning seat post. I put these on a test at Scharmützelsee Triathlon in Bad Saarow. It was a sprint distance of 750 m swim, 23 km bike and 5 km run. The bike was 3 km longer than the normal sprint distance, but that worked great as a test. I used a single speed bike, which I bought a few years ago for just under €300. Over a time I changed from the flat handlebars to drop handlebars and changed the gear ratio. For changing the gear ratio I had to change the wheels to cheap Mavic wheels too. The biggest and the most important modifications for triathlon were the aero bars, which I bought for something like €50 and the cheap seat post, which is actually not a forward positioning seat post, but I flipped around to have a semi-forward position. The saddle is a cheap triathlon saddle from Fabric.
