Hi I’m Tiffany with Headcovers.com and by the end of today’s video, you’ll be able to tie a square scarf turban style. I’m wearing our meridian beanie that has gathered sides and light padding to provide additional volume underneath and to also help prevent the scarf from slipping. To create this look you’ll need a large square headscarf and today I’m using our 100% pure silk headscarf. To start, we’re going to take two opposite corners and fold it into a triangle. I’m going to start by taking the folded edge of the triangle and placing it in the back against the nape of the neck. You’ll take the two long ends and go over the top corner of the triangle and tie an initial knot. And now I’m going to take the same two long ends and tie a knot again in the back and then we can tuck them up underneath the sides. Once you have the tails tucked up, you’ll be left with a triangle in front and you’re going to gather that and on the first initial knot you’ll start tucking the ends into it. Adjust that as needed to give it the volume you’re looking for. And this is how to tie a turban. Let me know in the comments below if you’re going to try out this look or if you have any questions.
