I visited this abandoned party mansion in the summer of 2019 and while some damage had been done and attempts made to seal and secure the home, I was still pleased with its condition and happy that I decided to make the trip and explore this great abandoned mansion!
According to The Secret Lens, this abandoned mansion last purchased for $1.5 million, this 5 bedroom 7 bathroom house was quite the surprise to find vacant. The rundown from a real estate ad from a few years back,
"This sprawling 2 storey home is located on 1.88 acres. Spacious main floor with oak hardwood flooring, formal living room, dining room, oversized eat-in kitchen with granite counters, island, tons of cupboards, walk-in pantry, oak office/den, sunken family room, main floor laundry, and 2 bathrooms. The double staircase leads you upstairs to 3 generous bedrooms and 3 full baths (2 ensuites). If that is not enough, the lower level features a granny suite with 2 full baths (1 ensuite), maple kitchen (granite and breakfast bar), living and eating area, custom kids oasis (with hideaway, stadium seating for movies, and slide) cold room, and walk out. The 4-season indoor Hollandia pool had an extreme makeover in 2011 with 26 ft. ceiling its incredible! Also included is a $50, 000 solar system which takes care of nearly all your Electric Bills."
Upon doing some online research he came upon a few ads renting the rooms for $65 a night or $350 a week after it was sold. Another interesting thread he came across about this property said it was selling 1000 $100 tickets to all you can drink parties. They even had a drug bar with weed, molly, coke and mushrooms. Sounds like it was a busy place back then, not so much now. Between his visits he noticed things had moved and/or gone missing including light fixtures and wiring downstairs. No doubt it's scrappers or junkies picking up some extra cash. TSL says Surely it's only a matter of time before someone invites a hundred drunken teenagers there and they do the place up good.
