In the world we live in, natural passion is the key to success and impact. Knowing information is valuable but possessing the passion/ fire is critical and crucial. Nothing major in the history has ever accomplished without zeal/passion. It is the deciding difference between the successful and unsuccessful people. Fire on inside affects everything on outside. Enthusiasm and persistence makes an average person superior. Indifference and lethargy can make a superior person average. Nothing great is done without a passion. Passion turns impossible into possible. It energizes life and it is what makes your life active. God wants His people to have passion. Passion is a strong desire that can get you to do amazing things. It is an emotion to be acted upon. When you have passion you love it. Even if you are cold you will do it. If your life is becoming miserable the reason is you are a selfish person. Happiest people are those who loose themselves in the service of others. When you break your selfishness you achieve the purpose of your life.
There are only two things matters in life – love God and love the people. Your source of blessings from God is from the obedience of these two commandments. Do these things passionately. We are passionate about everything but not God. Stop frustrating yourselves in trying to make your life meaningful and happy in your own way or in world’s way. Jesus said I am the way, the truth and the life. Having a relationship with God through Lord Jesus Christ is the only way for our earthly burdens and problems to be lighten. When you come to Jesus Christ you will understand the purpose of your troubles. Follow Jesus with passion with all your heart. Be fervent in Spirit. You won’t stays on God’s fire automatically it needs to be maintained. Passion is nothing to do with your age, personality, culture; it has to do with your heart. Fulfilling any purpose requires passion, enthusiasm and zeal. God is the source of this spiritual passion. When we first believe and trust God for who He is for us the passion will start. Holy Spirit will come to ignite us with the holy fire. Stony ground people accept the message but when they find the obedience difficult they become hypocrites. Passion is not that is static and won’t stay always. Only two things will happen to a fire either it keeps burning and spreads or it burns out. Three things are necessary to have fire inside: fuel, spark and oxygen. Bible is our fuel, decision is our spark and prayer is our oxygen. There are many passion killers in us. First is living without a purpose. Passion and purpose goes together. Purpose is your sanctification and eternal life. Without purpose your passion will die off. Our sin will kill our passion. Our anger and jealousy alone can kill our passion and we remain lukewarm throughout our life. Sometimes we loose our passion in life out of loneliness. We need to have fellowship. You are called in Jesus Christ to serve others. One of the ways our spirit will become lukewarm is when we live for ourselves. To fulfill the passion that is started in us we have to discipline our daily life. Nourish your spirit daily by reading bible, making new decisions and by prayers. God wants our spirit to be fervent and passionate then our spirit will be calm and cool in our problems.
