The Solar Eclipse occurs at 10 Cancer. It brings with it profound opportunities for emotional healing and transformation. This cuts across lifetimes and generations as the New Moon trines Nessus (The Abuser's Asteroid) at 11 Pisces. Let your emotions flow but remember that what you feel - or think you feel - is a product of composite layering. It's not always about the essence of you but rather what you've inherited or learnt. And it doesn't always have to do with your current lifetime.
When we realize this, we find it easier to stop identifying with surface-level expressions of our emotions. We allow them to flow as an indicator of deeper truths and realities within. That frees us to begin perceiving the deeper nature of the Self.
In other words, emotions point you to the doorway of self-knowing. They are not the destination, though they may be the currents that take you there.
With Nessus in the mix, many of us are going to remember or be faced with memories or patterns of abuse, pain and disassociation. Some of these may be familial, others may be more to do with the karmic path of your individual soul.
A lot of deep, powerful experiences may come up for processing. Some of these may induce shame, grief, rage, pain or the desire to escape. (Even if it's not your story, you may sense this in the collective).
But that doesn't mean you have to charge and smite your way through it.
The more you allow for a gentle release of the past, the more possibilities you create for the future. Even when the past seems too painful or heavy to let go of. That's exactly when a gentler approach may be more powerful.
That means being kind to yourself. And others. And the planet.
Remember that gentleness does not ask you to condone abuse or tolerate bad behavior.
It does not mean you need to romanticize the past.
It means that you can step aside with greater ease and grace.
Much in the same way a river doesn't need to fight with an obstacle in it's path. It winds it's way around it.
The future is not set in stone. And it's time to wash away the debris of the past that would like us to believe that it is.
Ideally - in ways that do not glorify conflict and subtle forms of emotional manipulation.
There is much work to be done on aligning and honoring our emotional bodies - and their intrinsic connection with the watery body of The Earth. The medium of water connects many worlds and subtle levels of consciousness.
At the personal level, this is a time for you to be true to your Being.
Who is family?
Where do you belong?
What is home?
When was the last time you truly allowed yourself to feel?
What inheritances are ready to be dissolved and returned to Source?
Are you ready to dissolve the veils and return to your Self?
And so much more.
