That means the thumb, index finger and middle finger play a role.
You’re holding the pencil with two fingers, not three.
The middle finger is only supposed to be supporting the pencil, but not touching the tip, according to a handwriting legibility expert Insider spoke with.
The thumb and pointer finger should be opposite each other, while the tail end of the pencil lays back on the hand.
But again, that’s just one way to do it.
It’s important to note that handwriting helps you better remember things, both short and long-term, according to CBS Miami.
