Have you tried multiple home remedies for frizzy hair?
Do you wonder how hair become frizzy?
I try to answer these commonly asked questions in this video.
If you look at an ultramicroscopic level the cuticle of the hair is like how you are looking at the tiles overlapping tiles at the roof of a house. They are cemented together called as 18-methyl eicosanoic acid. It is like a fat or lipid that cements these tiles and this makes the hair hydrophobic. When due to repeated washing, vigorous drying of the hair, hair straightening treatment, usage of chemicals, it leaks the hydrophobic surface of the hair and makes it hydrophilic, that is negatively charged and hence frizzy air. So what shall we do not prevent our change of hair surface from hydrophobic to hydrophilic? One , you have to chose a mild shampoo, you have to use a paraben and sodium lauryl sulphate free shampoo. So sodium lauryl sulphate is not a harmful thing but it is a very strong surfactant and makes your hair change form hydrophilic to hydrophobic. How to apply shampoo? Shampoo shod be put in little chunks and take it on your fingers and apply it all across your scalp, in small amounts. When you put SLS free shampoo you tend to put more because they don’t tend to foam that much. So remember higher the foaming capacity of the shampoo, do not dilute shampoo with water. We don’t want shampoo on the hair, we want shampoo on the scalp. So us e of a paraben SLS free shampoo all across the scalp rather than must healing it on part of the head. Number two, always to your shampoo with a good conditioner. What is a good conditioner? There are two main ingredients one dimethicone protein hydrolysate, it could be soy protein or vegetable origin soy protein or animal origin protein hydrolysate. Keep all the straightening treatments and chemical relaxants at bay. If it is a party or an occasion you have to do a blow dry, then it has to be done at a gap of 15 cms. Number 5 it is also important for you to add oil to your daily regimen. It is not the oil on the scalp, it hasn’t be used on the body of the hair, preferably before the head bath. Number 6 , last but not the least protect your hair from the harmful effects of radiation as we encourage you to put a sunscreen on your face, we do encourage you to cover your head to keep your mane healthy , strong and supercilious
