It was good to be out during a rare July norther. Many Llano river big bass were relocated during the October flood, so I decided to downsize my tackle and go after the smaller bass with a 3 wt bamboo rod and a Stimulator dry fly. A few bass hit on a dead drift, but it was more productive to twitch and pop the Stimulator like a grass hopper kicking on the surface.
